Here's some easy directions how to make your own gift box: |  Decide if your gift box will be for a girl or a boy and cut out the appropriate label.  Prepare a sturdy medium sized shoebox. A plastic reusable shoebox is ideal because it is leak-proof and items can be inspected without having to re-open.  Gift wrap the box and lid separately.  Fill with appropriate items which may include wrapped soap, toothbrushes, drawing items and toys. Please do not include any toy that may resemble a weapon, pose a dangerous risk or remind a child about war.  You may feel free to include a personalized note or encouraging words of Scripture.  Close securely with rubber bands and take to your local collection center. Please say a special prayer for your gift (and all of the other boxes) that it may reach a child who is ready to come to know Our Lord. Feel free to give us a call if you have any questions. |
